C. (§3.10) Federal Restrictions on Garnishment of Earnings
Under 15 U.S.C. §§ 1671-1677, of the Consumer Credit Protection Act (CCPA), Pub. L. No. 90-321, 82 Stat. 146, federal restrictions are placed on the garnishment of earnings. The federal law definition of earnings is virtually identical to the definition in § 525.030, RSMo 2000.
