Any arrangements a claimant may have through an insurance contract for coverage of medical and hospital expenses is irrelevant to the claimant’s right of recovery from a tortfeasor. Missouri courts have established that a claimant is entitled to recover these expenses even though they were actually paid by an insurance company under a contract with the claimant. Kickham v.
