Missouri has adopted the reasoning of Marvin v. Marvin, 557 P.2d 106 (Cal. banc 1976), in Hudson v. DeLonjay, 732 S.W.2d 922 (Mo. App. E.D. 1987), holding that express and implied-in-fact contracts between unmarried cohabitants are enforceable if they are supported by valid consideration.
