B. (§29.23) Municipal Division Appeals

A defendant convicted in a municipal court has an absolute right to a trial de novo. Rule 37.71. The notice of appeal must be filed within ten days of the entry of judgment, and there is no provision that allows the filing of an appeal out of time. Rule 37.71(a).
