The MMW Act (Magnuson-Moss Warranty^{—Federal Trade Commission Improvement} Act), 15 U.S.C. §§ 2301–2312, provides an action for damages, attorney fees, and other equitable relief to consumers who can prove that a “warrantor” failed to make certain disclosures or furnish substantive provisions of a written warranty.
