For research under the National Labor Relations Act, as amended, 29 U.S.C. §§ 151, et seq., the best starting point is a two-volume set entitled The Developing Labor Law(BNA 3^rd ed. 1992). This work was prepared by the American Bar Association’s Labor and Employment Law Section and published by the Bureau of National Affairs (BNA). The treatise is excellent; its coverage is comprehensive and it is updated by annual supplements.

For a more detailed discussion, counsel may consult Theodore Kheel’s multi-volume treatise on Labor Law, originally published in 1964, which is available from Matthew Bender Co., Inc.
