For research under the National Labor Relations Act, as amended,
29 U.S.C. §§ 151 et seq., the best starting point is a two-volume set entitled “The Developing Labor Law”(John E. Higgins, Jr. et al. eds., BNA 5^th ed. 2006). This work was prepared by the American Bar Association’s Section of Labor and Employment Law and is published by the Bureau of National Affairs (BNA). The treatise is excellent; its coverage is comprehensive and it is updated by annual supplements.

For a more detailed discussion, counsel may consult Theodore Kheel’s multi-volume treatise on Labor and Employment Law (2003), originally published in 1964, which is available from Matthew Bender Co., Inc., 800/833-9844.
