An employee who is discharged or discriminated against in violation of 29 U.S.C. § 215(a)(3) of the FLSA (Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938), 29 U.S.C. §§ 201 et seq., is entitled to such legal or equitable relief as may be appropriate, including, without limitation, employment, reinstatement, promotion, payment of lost wages, liquidated damages, and reasonable attorney fees and costs. 29 U.S.C. § 216.
