F. (§28.9) Supervision
The sentencing court may order that probation be supervised or unsupervised. If the probation is supervised, all felony and certain class A misdemeanors are supervised by the Board. But the Board is not required to supervise any person convicted of a class B or C misdemeanor. The court may contract with private entities to supervise misdemeanor probation.
