D. (§28.25) Trial Procedure

The trial of a parentage case under the MoUPA is governed by the Rules of Civil Procedure. Section 210.839.1, RSMo 2000. There are also certain additional procedures unique to the parentage action. Section 210.846, RSMo 2000, directs that the trial must be held in closed court and that no person other than those necessary to the action may be in attendance. Additionally, this section makes all papers and records pertaining to the proceeding, other than the judgment, confidential.
