E. (§28.20) Gestation Period Judicial Notice

The court may take judicial notice that the normal period of human gestation is 280 days or ten lunar months. T.A.L.S. v. R.D.B., 539 S.W.2d 737 (Mo. App. E.D. 1976); S__ J__ B__ v. S__ F__ S__, 504 S.W.2d 233 (Mo. App. W.D. 1973). In Missouri, it has been judicially recognized that the possible period of gestation may range from 7 to 11 months.
