The usual remedies at law and in equity are available for the protection and enforcement of the party wall rights. Generally, civil actions are in the nature of suits on contracts, although mandatory injunctions have also been used. Thornton v. Royce, 56 Mo. App. 179 (W.D. 1894); McBride Realty Co. v. Grace, 15 S.W.2d 957 (Mo. App. W.D. 1928).
