Section 27 Procedure

LibraryUrban Development Subdivisions, and Annexations (2011 Ed.)

The St. Louis County Boundary Commission is authorized to review any proposed boundary change and, upon determining that the proposal will be in the best interests of the affected municipalities, the affected unincorporated territory, and the adjacent portions of St. Louis County, to submit the question for voter approval. Section 72.405.1, RSMo 2000.

Factors to be considered in determining the "best interests" include:

· impact, including tax impact, of the proposal;
