Section 27 Labeling Requirements

Under FIFRA, pesticide labels must include certain information including:

• the name, brand, or trademark under which the product is sold
• the name and address of the pesticide producer
• the net contents
• the EPA product registration number
• the EPA registration number of the establishment at which the pesticide was produced;
• a statement of ingredients;
• warning or precautionary statements;
• directions for use; and
• the use classification (i.e., general use or restricted use).
