The public sector labor law, §§ 105.500 et seq., RSMo 2000, exempts from coverage “police, deputy sheriffs, Missouri state highway patrolmen, Missouri national guard, [and] all teachers of all Missouri schools, colleges and universities.” Section 105.510, RSMo 2000.
