3. (§27.9) Res Judicata

The principles of res judicata and full faith and credit may effectively operate to prevent collateral attack of the jurisdiction issue. If the issues of either in personam or subject matter jurisdiction are adjudicated with both parties having the opportunity to litigate the issues, the decree will not be subject to attack in the court of the state that originally rendered it.
