B. (§27.6) Motion for New Trial

Before the judgment and sentence is rendered by the court under Rule 29.07(b), the defendant has the right to file a motion for a new trial, which may be granted upon good cause. Rule 29.11(a). The motion for new trial must be filed within 15 days after the return of the verdict.
