9. (§27.30) Communication Between Courts

Several sections of the MoUCCJEA require Missouri courts to communicate with courts of other states to resolve jurisdictional issues. Unlike the MoUCCJA (now repealed), the MoUCCJEA contains a set of guidelines pertaining to communications between courts. Specifically:

· the court may allow the parties to participate in the communication, § 452.730.2, RSMo Supp. 2011;
