7. (§27.28) “Clean Hands”

With the exception of emergency situations (see § 452.755, RSMo Supp. 2011), Missouri courts are to decline otherwise valid jurisdiction when the court has jurisdiction because the person invoking the jurisdiction has engaged in unjustifiable conduct. Section 452.775.1, RSMo Supp. 2011. The statute sets forth the following exceptions to the rule:
