Section 26 Statutory Mandamus and Prohibition

Article V, §§ 4.1 and 14(a), of the Missouri Constitution, which authorize the common-law remedy of mandamus, are not the only source of the mandamus remedy. Many Missouri statutes authorize an interested party to obtain enforcement through mandamus.
