4. (§26.29) Remarriage of Parent

The remarriage of a parent originally denied custody is not in itself sufficient basis for a modification. In re Marriage of Wolf, 542 S.W.2d 615 (Mo. App. W.D. 1976); see Moore v. Moore, 849 S.W.2d 652 (Mo. App. W.D. 1993). If the remarriage causes a change in condition, such as creating a more stable home environment, it is a factor that can be considered.
