4. (§26.18) Death

The common-law rule that a parent’s obligation for child support terminates upon the death of the parent was not modified by the enactment of § 452.370, now RSMo 2000. Bushell v. Schepp, 613 S.W.2d 689 (Mo. App. E.D. 1981); see also Metro. Life Ins. Co. v. Alcorn, 674 S.W.2d 115 (Mo. App. E.D. 1984).
