While an appeal may be taken by a juvenile or by specific
persons on behalf of the juvenile from any “final judgment” of the juvenile court, neither § 211.261, RSMo 2000, nor Rule 120.01 provides for the appeal of a dismissal to allow prosecution under the general law. Caselaw indicates that the dismissal order will not be considered a final judgment for purposes of appeal.
