Section 25 Priority of Elements in a Description Containing Conflicts

The elements of a legal description include:

· natural monuments, which are permanent objects found on the land as they were placed by nature, Czarnecki v. Phillips Pipe Line Co., 524 S.W.2d 153 (Mo. App. E.D. 1975);

· artificial monuments, defined as landmarks or signs erected by man, id.;

plats;

courses;

distance; and

acreage.
