E. (§25.48) Choice of Law in Hearing on Modification Request
A child support order registered for modification is subject to the same requirements, procedures, and defenses applicable to the modification of an order issued by the registering state. Section 454.973(b), RSMo Supp. 2011. The registering state cannot modify any aspect of the registered order that is not modifiable under the law of the issuing state.
