B. (§25.45) Jurisdiction to Modify When One State Has Continuing, Exclusive Jurisdiction

When another state has issued a child support order, Missouri may not modify it unless that order has been properly registered in Missouri and the requirements of § 454.1662, RSMo 2016, are met. The following cases illustrate situations in which Missouri lacked authority to modify child support orders issued by other states.
