B. (§25.36) Paternity

A tribunal may serve as either an initiating or a responding tribunal in a proceeding brought under UIFSA to establish paternity. Section 454.983(a), RSMo Supp. 2011. Specifically, a tribunal is empowered to determine that the petitioner or a respondent is a parent of the child at issue. Id.
