4. (§25.21) Spousal Support Orders
Because states have such different laws regarding spousal support, UIFSA provides that only the issuing state can modify a spousal support order. Consequently, under UIFSA, the issuing state of a spousal support order retains CEJ for the life of the spousal support obligation. Section 454.867(f), RSMo Supp. 2011.
