The prevailing party is entitled to interest on the difference between the commissioners’ award and the jury verdict calculated by the
court and added to the judgment. Section 523.045, RSMo 2000. Interest is calculated in accordance with § 523.045. Rule 86.10. Interest on the judgment thereafter, as in other civil cases, is calculated in accordance with § 408.040, RSMo Supp. 2008.
