B. (§24.4) Garnishment

Garnishment is an incidental remedy to permit a judgment creditor to obtain:

personal property;

goods;

money;

credits;

bonds;

bills;

notes;

checks;

causes of action;

other effects of the defendant; and

all debts owed to the defendant in the hands of a third party.
