B. (§24.29) Non-Child Custody Registration of Foreign Judgment

Rule 74.14 establishes a procedure similar to that set forth in 28 U.S.C. § 1963 for registering and filing a federal court judgment in another federal court.

Counsel should particularly note the provisions of Rule 74.14(c)(1) requiring the judgment creditor to file, along with the authenticated foreign judgment, an affidavit setting forth the name and last known address for both the creditor and the judgment debtor. The clerk of the court is then to...
