J. (§24.12) Family Support Division
The former Division of Child Support Enforcement was created to collect past due child support that has been assigned to the state as a state debt under § 208.040.2(2), RSMo Supp. 2011. See § 454.400.1, RSMo 2000. The Division charges $10 per year as costs for maintaining these records. Section 454.548, RSMo 2000. This fee is deducted from the first payment of each calendar year.
