“Standing is a jurisdictional matter antecedent to the right to relief.” Walker v. City of Springfield, 172 S.W.3d 857, 860
(Mo. App. S.D. 2005). “It asks whether the persons seeking relief [have] a right to do so.” Id. “Standing is a threshold requirement. Without it, a court has no power to grant the relief requested.” Querry v. State Highway & Transp. Comm’n, 60 S.W.3d 630, 634 (Mo. App. W.D. 2001). Lack of standing cannot be waived, and a court may consider it sua sponte. Id.
