Registration fees on a motor vehicle are due at the time of the annual renewal. Section 301.050, RSMo 2000. Because motor vehicles are classified by type and horsepower, and different fees are due for each type as set by statute, no specific registration fees are given here. Counsel should examine §§ 301.055–301.144, RSMo 2000 and Supp. 2007. These fees are subject to change by the legislature.
