C. (§21.56) Suggested Topics and Questions for Voir Dire Examination—State

1. Introducing the jury to the case and the circumstances out of which the charge arises.

2. Knowledge of the occurrence.

3. At the conclusion of this case under appropriate instructions by [his/her] honor the judge, I will ask you that, should you find the defendant guilty, you impose the maximum punishment of death. Does any member of the panel have any religious, moral, or conscientious scruples or disabilities against the death penalty and its imposition so that in any case, regardless of the evidence, they could not impose the death penalty or would not even consider its imposition?
