6. (§21.14) Value of Pensions

In Wilkinson v. Wilkinson, 729 S.W.2d 36 (Mo. App. E.D. 1987), the wife successfully used an economics professor to obtain a one-half interest in her husband’s pension plan in which the husband had a nonvested interest. An accountant or economist is helpful in valuing a pension under Kuchta v. Kuchta, 636 S.W.2d 663 (Mo. banc 1982).
