Condemnation proceedings must be brought in the circuit court of the county where the “land or any part thereof lies.” Section 523.010.1, RSMo 2000; Rule 86.02. The circuit court of the county in which the property is located has general subject matter jurisdiction over the condemnation action. State ex rel. Mo. State Highway & Transp. Comm’n v. Kroeger, 682 S.W.2d 480 (Mo. App. E.D. 1984).
