C. (§20.51) Soil Samples

In State v. Weekly, 728 S.W.2d 664, 667 (Mo. App. E.D. 1987), the court held that it was not error to receive testimony of the expert as to the similarity of rock pebbles found on the defendant’s boots and pebbles at the crime scene over an objection that this evidence had not gained acceptance in the scientific community when other competent identity-proof evidence supported the conviction.
