A. (§2.4) Creation and Abolition of Municipal Office

Because municipal corporations are creatures of statute, many municipal office positions are specifically authorized or otherwise envisioned by statute—these positions being the executive, legislative, and judicial arms that effectuate the municipal corporation’s purpose. See, e.g.:
