3. (§2.32) Priority Between Judgment Creditors

The lien of a judgment against real estate ordinarily commences on the date the judgment is rendered or when filed with the clerk of the circuit court in a county other than the county of judgment. The transcript of an associate circuit division judgment must also be filed with the clerk of the circuit court before a judgment lien arises, even in the county of judgment.
