VI. (§2.27) Conclusion

In the author’s experience, Missouri appellate courts prefer to decide cases on the merits. They will generally try to find a way to preserve their jurisdiction. Similarly, the clerks, the executive judicial assistants, and the deputy clerks are cooperative and helpful in assisting counsel in prosecuting appeals.
