E. (§2.13) Custodian of Child
The custodian of the child, whether a physical custodian or a legal custodian having custody under a decree of court of competent jurisdiction, is entitled to notice of the institution of any adoption proceeding pertaining to the child. Section 453.060.1(3), RSMo 2000. The legally appointed guardian of the child likewise is entitled to this notice. Section 453.060.1(4).
