1. (§2.10) General Rule: Ten Days After the Judgment Becomes Final
Rule: The notice of appeal must be filed within 10 days after the judgment becomes final. The judgment is “final” 30 days after its entry or when authorized posttrial motions have been determined, whichever is earlier.
Section 512.050, RSMo 2000, and Rule 81.04(a) contain identical language: “No such appeal shall be effective unless the notice of appeal shall be filed not later than ten days after the judgment or order appealed from becomes...
