4. (§2.10) Abstention

The 1984 Amendments, together with the 2005 Amendments, authorize district courts to abstain from hearing or determining any matter “arising in,” “arising under,” or “related to” a bankruptcy case, except with respect to a case under Chapter 15 of the Bankruptcy Code, in the interest of justice, or in the interest of comity with state courts or with respect for state law. 28 U.S.C. § 1334(c).
