Section 2.1.7.1 Payment Bond in Lieu of Lien Rights

A.R.S. Sec. 33-1003 permits landowners to avoid all lien rights against their land, except of those persons with whom they contract directly and in writing. This can be accomplished if a landowner requires the original contractor to furnish a payment bond in a sum equal to the full amount of the contract.
