The purpose of this chapter is to provide a summary of those damages recoverable in Missouri in a wrongful death action and to set forth, generally, the standard necessary to “prove up” those damages. While a very brief discussion of the general nondamage aspects of a wrongful death action is included, this chapter is not intended to be an all-inclusive discussion of those topics.
