Section 19 Orderof Dismissal

Section 211.071.7, RSMo Supp. 2010, establishes specific findings that the juvenile court must include in its order dismissing a petition to allow prosecution under the general law. These required findings are:

that the court had jurisdiction of the cause and of the parties that the juvenile was represented by counsel that a hearing was held in the presence of the juvenile and the juvenile’s counsel; and the reasons for ordering dismissal
