Section 19 Necessary Contents

At a minimum, the petition should contain:

• the name and residence of the landowner and of any other plaintiff

• the nature of each plaintiff’s interest clearly stated

• the name and address of the putative condemnor

• the putative condemnor’s business, good standing, and power of eminent domain, and the fact that the project is devoted to public use

• a description of the physical property involved, sufficient in detail to afford identification within the particular city, county, section...
