The Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act of 1994 (USERRA), 38 U.S.C. §§ 4301 et seq., specifically calls on the Secretary of Labor (the “Secretary”), through the Veterans’ Employment and Training Service, to provide assistance relating to employment and reemployment rights and authorizes the agency to use the assistance of volunteers. 38 U.S.C. § 4321.
A person who claims rights under USERRA may file a complaint with the Secretary, who is required to investigate all such complaints.
