G. (§19.30) Failure to Attend Deposition
If the party who noticed the taking of the deposition fails to attend and proceed with the deposition, the court may order the party to pay the other party’s reasonable expenses, including attorney fees. Rule 57.03(h)(1). If a witness fails to appear for a deposition and the party who noticed the deposition fails to comply with Supreme Court Rules compelling the attendance of the witness, the court may order the party to pay reasonable expenses of the other party...
